One Platform, Multiple Battery Insights: Discover Modular Calorimetry in Aachen

Understanding thermal behaviour is essential for developing safer and more efficient batteries. At the Advanced Battery Power 2026 exhibition, Christian Bracht of NETZSCH-Gerätebau presented a modular approach to calorimetry that supports a broad range of research and safety-related applications.

The NETZSCH MMC 315 Nexus combines interchangeable modules on a single platform. Depending on its configuration, the system can be used to investigate chemical reactions and phase changes, assess process-safety questions and characterize the thermal behaviour of coin cells. This flexibility allows laboratories to adapt their analytical equipment to changing research requirements.
