What you can expect at the three-day Advanced Battery Power 2026 event from April 14–16, 2026, in Münster
The English-language “Advanced Battery Power 2026” in Münster will present a wide range of topics with leading international speakers and young scientists over three days – in person and online.
The international battery conference “Advanced Battery Power” from 14-16.4.2026 offers an extensive program in a newly tailored framework over three days with longer periods for discussions and poster presentations. The conference starts on April 14, 2026 at 1 pm and ends on April 16, 2026 at 3 pm.
In addition, the Vehicle to Grid conference will take place in parallel on April 15-16, 2026. On 13.4.2026 we will also be offering online battery seminars.

On April 13, 2026, subject-specific online seminars will be held in preparation for the conference. As generally the conference language is German.
Advanced Battery Power Conference
The 18th international Advanced Battery Power conference will take place from April 14 to 16, 2026. In more than 70 scientific presentations, experts from research and industry will present the latest findings and developments along the entire value chain of battery technology – from material innovations to cell and system design to applications and recycling concepts. The English-language presentations will provide a well-founded overview of the current state of research and, at the same time, open up perspectives for future developments. The thematically diverse sessions will create a platform for the intensive exchange of knowledge and experience between researchers, developers, and users from all over the world.
Poster exhibition
The accompanying poster exhibition at the Advanced Battery Power Conference presents over 300 scientific posters covering a broad spectrum of current research and technological developments in the field of battery technology. It serves as a supplementary knowledge base and is available to participants throughout the conference. The poster authors will be on site to accompany their presentations in person in order to promote technical discussions, explain research results, and facilitate direct exchange between science, industry, and practical application. This makes the poster exhibition a central forum for scientific dialogue and interdisciplinary networking.

Throughout the event, exhibitors will present products and developments related to electrical storage solutions, battery production, and applications in the immediate vicinity of the lecture halls in the Messe und Congress Centrum Halle Münsterland. At the trade exhibition, participants of the Vehicle-2-Grid Conference and the Advanced Battery Power Conference can obtain information and network directly with exhibitors.
