from 7–9 April 2027 in Aachen

The English-language ‘Advanced Battery Power 2027’ conference in Aachen will run for three days – both in person and online – and will cover a wide range of topics, featuring leading international speakers as well as early-career researchers.

The international battery conference ‘Advanced Battery Power’, taking place from 7 to 9 April 2027, offers a comprehensive three-day programme within a newly tailored framework, with ample time slots for discussions and poster presentations. The conference begins on 7 April 2027 at 1.00 pm and ends on 9 April 2027 at 3.00 pm.

In addition, the Vehicle to Grid conference will take place in parallel on 7–8 April 2027. Supplementary online battery seminars will be offered as early as 6 April 2027.

Advanced Battery Power Conference

The 19th International Conference on Advanced Battery Power will take place from 7 to 9 April 2027. In more than 70 scientific presentations, experts from research and industry will present the latest findings and developments across the entire battery technology value chain – from material innovations and cell and system design to applications and recycling concepts. The English-language presentations will provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of research whilst also opening up prospects for future developments. The sessions, covering a wide range of topics, will create a platform for an intensive exchange of knowledge and experience between researchers, developers and practitioners from around the world.

Poster exhibition

The accompanying poster exhibition at the Advanced Battery Power Conference showcases around 180 scientific papers covering a broad spectrum of current research and technological developments in the field of battery technology. It serves as a complementary source of knowledge and is available to participants throughout the conference. The poster authors will be present on site to personally oversee their presentations, with a view to fostering technical discussions, explaining research findings and facilitating direct exchange between academia, industry and practitioners. This makes the poster exhibition a key forum for scientific dialogue and interdisciplinary networking.

Exhibition

Throughout the event, exhibitors will be showcasing products and developments relating to electrical storage solutions, battery production and applications in the immediate vicinity of the lecture theatres at the Messe- und Congress Centrum Halle Münsterland. At the trade exhibition, participants in the Vehicle-to-Grid Conference and the Advanced Battery Power Conference will be able to find out more and network directly with the exhibitors.
