Mathieu Morcrette,

Research director at the CNRS
Mathieu Morcrette is a CNRS Research director at the CNRS. He headed the Reactivity and Solid State Chemistry Laboratory from 2008 to 2014 is currently deputy-director of the french Network RS2E. He is also coordinating the Franco-German Hipobat programme on all-solid-state Na-ion batteries with Prof Martin Winter. Since the beginning of his carrier, he is strongly involved into battery prototyping activities creating a pilot line for the valorisation of the french researcher discoveries.
Mathieu is also co-founder of Tiamat, a CNRS spin-off company specialising in Na-ion technology. He is now the CTO of this company, leading the R&D activities of 18 people from supply chain specification to the performance of batteries produced at the industrial scale.
