Lab tour through the Meet Battery Research Center

Exclusively for the participants of the Battery Day NRW and the international conference “Kraftwerk Batterie - Advanced Battery Power”, MEET Battery Research Center at the University of Münster opens its doors. First, in a kick-off presentation, visitors will learn about the materials, cell systems and processes researched in one of Germany's leading battery research centers.

Afterwards, they are given exciting insights into selected laboratories. One of the highlights is the 1,000 m² technical center, including a dry room. With its almost completely water-free atmosphere, this laboratory provides an ideal environment for the production of safe, high-performance, long-life battery cells.

  1. Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 6:00 pm Uhr (bus transfer 17:45 in front of the Congress Centre, Return around 7:15 pm)
  2. Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 3:15 pm Uhr (bus transfer 2:45 in front of the Congress Centre, Return around 4:15 pm)

The number of participants is limited to 40 guests.

Transport will be provided from the Congress Centre to the institute buildings and back.
