Guided tour of the FFB PreFab battery cell factory

FFB PreFab is an open battery cell factory that was built specifically for the industrialisation and scaling of innovative battery technologies. Since its opening in 2024, it has served as a central platform for testing new machines, processes and cell designs. During the exclusive tour at ABPC, you will gain exciting insights into the state-of-the-art facilities, European machine technology and research into scalable battery cell production. Learn first-hand how the Fraunhofer Research Production Battery Cell FFB supports companies and science in the development of forward-looking battery production – from pilot production to the optimisation of industrial production lines.

There are two dates to choose from:

  1. Tuesday, 14 April 2026, from 6 p.m. (bus transfer at 5:45 p.m. in front of the Congress Centre, return at around 7:15 p.m.)
  2. Thursday, 16 April 2026, from 3:15 p.m. (bus transfer at 3:15 p.m. in front of the Congress Centre, return at around 5:15 p.m.)

Transportation will be provided from the Congress Centre to the Fraunhofer FFB premises and back.
