In 2003, he began his career at a restraint system supplier as a calculation engineer; later he worked there as a project manager for restraint system projects for international OEMs.

From 2008 onwards, he worked for a management consultancy in the fields of project management, process management and general safety topics (including vehicle safety, safety of electrical energy storage systems, transport safety of hazardous goods, occupational health and safety, functional safety, safety in use), especially in the field of alternative drive systems.
In 2013, he founded his own consulting company and continues to work for international OEMs and suppliers on safety-related topics.

Furthermore, he regularly gives lectures, works as a trainer on the topics of safety, shipping and transport of lithium and lithium-ion batteries and conducts seminars on these topics.
