BatterieIngenieure GmbH offers its customers services around the topic of batteries. The range of services includes the testing of cells and batteries (electrical, thermal, mechanical), algorithm development in diagnostics for lead-acid and Li-ion batteries as well as the development of performance and lifetime models, furthermore support in the optimal storage selection, analysis of failure causes or questions about the safe operation of your storage or safety investigations. The close cooperation with the research groups of Prof. Sauer and Prof. Figgemeier at RWTH Aachen University enables the integration of current research topics beyond the state of the art. Since the end of 2021, we are closer to our Southern European customers with BatterieIngenieure South Europe SL in Spain.
Services.
In addition, we subject energy storage systems to electrical, thermal and mechanical tests and ensure their operational safety. This enables us to precisely characterise your test specimens in terms of durability, performance and safety. In addition to initial characterisation, this also serves to ensure consistent product quality as part of quality assurance.
Our battery development and production team has been working on highly specialised Li-ion battery systems for various applications since 2003. In battery development and production, we basically distinguish between three areas: Prototype development, small series and large series production. In the latter case, the manufacturability of the components and the costs are decisive criteria.
