The Battery Community Meets in Aachen — Join Us in 2027

Prof. Dr. Dirk Uwe Sauer of RWTH Aachen University invites researchers, developers and industry experts to the next Advanced Battery Power Conference, taking place in Aachen from 7 to 9 April 2027.

Battery technology is entering an especially dynamic phase. Established technologies and rapidly developing markets are being joined by emerging solutions such as solid-state and sodium-ion batteries. At the same time, applications are expanding far beyond the automotive sector—from stationary energy storage and uninterruptible power supplies to the growing demands of artificial intelligence data centres.

The Advanced Battery Power Conference provides a forum for examining these developments in technological depth. Experts from academia and industry will present and discuss the latest findings across the entire battery value chain: from materials and production to recycling, system integration and practical applications.
