Paramagnetic materials have garnered significant research attention due to their tunable composition, size, shape and magnetic properties making them suitable for a wide range of applications, including contrast agents, electromagnetic dampers and isolators, magnetic refrigeration systems and energy storage. However, understanding structural features of paramagnetic materials is crucial for improving their performance. Solid-State NMR spectroscopy is a unique approach to investigate local structural environment and dynamic of ordered and/or disordered materials at atomic level. Here, we report how the strength of the external magnetic field effects solid-state NMR spectra of paramagnetic cathodes. Combining low magnetic field with fast Magic Angle Spinning (MAS) up to 67 kHz increases spectral resolution so that valuable structural information about paramagnetic components can be provided.
