Compared to other SSB technologies, polymer-based systems offer high flexibility, low density, and cost-effectiveness, which makes them particularly appealing for scalable industrial production. However, challenges such as low ionic conductivity and high cycling temperatures must be addressed. A promising approach to overcome these challenges is the development of new polymer electrolytes, like Bt-PCL. This study focuses on the solvent-free processing of Bt-PCL-based cathodes and separators as a scalable and environmentally friendly approach to enhance the ionic conductivity for cycling temperatures < 80°C. LLZO particles have been inserted into the separater aswell as functionalised LLZO particles. The ionic conductivity of LLZO including Bt-PCL Separators could be improved. The calendering of cathodes with Bt-PCL solid electrolytes have been investigated. After calendaring very low cathode porositys below 1 % can be achieved.
