Elinor Rombach ist als wissenschaftliche Angestellte am IME-Institut f\u00fcr Metallurgische Prozesstechnik und Metallrecycling der RWTH Aachen University t\u00e4tig.<\/p>\n<p>Sie studierte NE-Metallurgie an der RWTH Aachen University bis 1992, arbeitete dort als wissenschaftliche Assistentin mit Abschluss Promotion (1992-1997), als Postdoc (seit 1997), Dozentin (seit 2000), Gruppenleiterin (seit 2001) sowie als wissenschaftliche Beraterin und Verbundprojekt-Koordinatorin auf strategischer Ebene im interdisziplin\u00e4ren Forschungsbereich der Rohstoffversorgung \/ Circular Economy (seit 2011). Im Jahr 2008 erhielt sie den von der WirtschaftsVereinigung Metalle dotierten \u201eKaiserpfalzpreis der NE-Metallurgie\u00ae\u201c f\u00fcr die langj\u00e4hrige Teamleitung der IME-Forschergruppe Batterierecycling.<\/p>\n<p>Aktuell begleitet sie die wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten der RWTH im BMBF-Forschungscluster \u201eRecycling &amp; Gr\u00fcne Batterie\u201c, im deutschen BGR-Forschungsnetzwerk Rohstoffe \u201eGERRI\u201c sowie im europ\u00e4ischen Rohstoffnetzwerk \u201eKIC EIT RawMaterials\u201c.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
