es Konstantin Sasse von seiner Heimat dem Bodensee nach Aachen an die RWTH. Seine akademische Ausbildung im Themenfeld der Elektrotechnik absolvierte er mit dem Schwerpunkt auf der Energietechnik und sammelte w\u00e4hrend seiner Studienzeit Berufserfahrung in zwei Praktika bei deutschen OEMs. Gleichzeitig entstand seine Begeisterung und Faszination f\u00fcr die Elektromobilit\u00e4t mit Fokus auf den Speichertechnologien, die er nach seinem Masterabschluss im innovativen universit\u00e4ren Umfeld vertiefen wollte.<\/p>\n<p>Seit Ende 2018 ist er am Lehrstuhl PEM unter der Leitung von Prof. Kampker als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in der Gruppe Battery Engineering t\u00e4tig. Hierbei besch\u00e4ftigt er sich vor allem mit der Entwicklung und Auslegung von Batteriesystemen, mit sicherheitstechnischen Aspekten ebendieser sowie mit der Planung und Durchf\u00fchrung von Abuse- und Homologationspr\u00fcfungen. In seiner Verantwortung befindet sich unter anderem das Batterietestzentrum des Instituts bestehend aus dem Battery Abuse Center im Elektromobilit\u00e4tslabor der RWTH Aachen. Des Weiteren leitet er ein Projekt zur Elektrifizierung von Nutzfahrzeugen unterschiedlicher Antriebsstr\u00e4nge (LiVe &#8211; Lebenszykluskostenreduktion im elektrischen Verteilerverkehr durch individuell adaptierbaren Antriebsstrang) und widmet sich im Rahmen seiner Dissertation dem Einfluss von Upgrades und \u00c4nderungen an Batteriesystemen im Zusammenhang mit dem
