Improper use or unnoticed damage can lead to a lithium battery catching fire. In practice, this presents several challenges:     <\/p><ul><li>How can defects be detected?<\/li><li>How can fires be detected?<\/li><li>How can a fire be controlled?<\/li><li>What can an effective protection concept look like?<\/li><\/ul><p><br>These and other questions will be answered in the seminar. The seminar will also examine the contents of the VdS 3103 and 3856 guidelines, which pertain to the operation, testing, and evaluation of lithium batteries in safety-critical applications.
