The Universal Current Collector (UCC) is an innovative composite material developed at Novac, whose aim is to enhance the performances of current collectors for batteries and supercapacitors, towards high-energy-density and high-power-density devices. It is composed of a metal foil and a conductive carbon net bonded via a solventless process and is available both for cathodes and for anodes. UCC is a trademark by Novac, with the objective of TRL6 by Q3 2024.
