The organisers of the international conference "Advanced Battery Power - Kraftwerk Batterie" are looking forward to receiving submissions until 31.10.2022!

Call for Papers for Advanced Battery Power from 27-28 April 2023 in Aachen is open

With over 260 submissions last year, the international symposium “Advanced Battery Power” achieved a record for the time being, which is to be surpassed again this year. The call for papers is now open. Abstracts with proposed topics for talks and scientific posters for this battery conference on 27-28 April 2023 in Aachen can still be submitted until 31.10.2022. The “Advanced Battery Power” conference organised by the Haus der Technik in Essen is one of the best-known conferences in the field of research, development and use of battery storage systems in motor vehicles, industry and energy technology. The conference language is English.

The two chairmen Prof. Dirk-Uwe Sauer (Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (ISEA), RWTH Aachen University, Helmholtz Institute Münster (HIMS) and Prof. Martin Winter (MEET Battery Research Centre, Institute for Physical Chemistry & Helmholtz Institute Münster (HIMS)) will lead the conference and design the programme together with the scientific advisory board.

Traditionally, the poster session, with 190 contributions at last count, forms a central part for the exchange of participants from research and industry. The highlight in 2023 will again be the presentation of the Poster Award. The close link between research and industry is also underlined in the exhibition area with over 50 exhibitors.

Pre-seminars in battery technology on 26 April 2023 round off the programme with current industry topics. Interested parties can bring themselves up to date on the latest research and development on a wide range of topics.

The “Vehicle to grid” conference, held in parallel for the first time in 2022, was a success and will be offered again in 2023.

The programme with all lectures and poster contributions is expected to be published in December 2021.

Authors will be informed individually by e-mail in advance.

In addition to the poster exhibition and the extensive lecture programme, an exhibition with representatives from research and industry is part of the English-language conference. Interested parties from the fields of research, development and application of batteries are invited.

Vorseminare zu aktuellen Industriethemen aus dem Bereich der Batterietechnik am 26. April 2023 runden das Programm ab.
